On My Mind

My roots are different than most Filipinos. My roots are deep in Hawaii.

Just saying. I mean, I delved deep into my Filipino Heritage but… I miss Hawaii. I’ve been home sick lately, I just need to put this out there. I really hope to go back soon. Like my dad always says: 

“You can take the boy away from the Islands, but you can’t take the Islands away from the boy.”
